Get me a visual: Ongoing adventures in graphic design

Probably the concept that will become the final piece, blocks of colour have been created to represent a simplified version of the shop signs on Kingsland Road. Primarily it would be used to cover the walls or partitions of the platform but it could also be rolled out to cover all the station signage, information and so on.

I need to develop it with the shop frontages as well - at the moment it is too abstract for any locals to understand and I want them to have an affinity to the work.


The process was then de-constructed somewhat unsuccessfully to create this 2012 logo inspired poster!
